What is West County World?

About Us

WEST COUNTY WORLD is the student run newspaper of Analy High School in Sebastopol, CA. Four issues of student writing are published each year both in print and on a student-maintained website. Copies of the newspaper can be found around the Analy campus as well as in the broader Sebastopol area in local businesses, the library, and public gathering locations. The newspaper has a total readership of over 5000. You can subscribe to West County World to receive email updates about when new articles release, our upcoming editions, and more!

Put West County World on Your Phone!

If you like to read your news right from your phone, put our news site on your phone for easy access!

For iPhone or iPad:

1: Launch the Safari browser on your device.

2: Type in the address westcountyworld.org and hit enter to go to the site.

3: Look for the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (it looks like a square with an upward arrow) and tap on it.

4: Scroll through the options that appear until you find “Add to Home Screen.” Tap it to continue.

5: A prompt will appear asking you to name the shortcut. You can keep it as “West County World” or any name you prefer.

6: Finally, tap “Add” in the upper-right corner. You’ll now see the West County World icon on your home screen, making it easy to access anytime.

For Android: 

1: Launch the Chrome browser on your Android device.

2: Enter westcountyworld.org in the address bar and press enter.

3: Tap the menu icon (three dots) located in the upper right corner of the screen.

4: In the dropdown menu, find and tap on “Add to Home Screen.”

5: You’ll be prompted to name the shortcut. You can enter “West County World” or another name of your choice.

6: Once you’ve named it, tap “Add,” and the West County World icon will appear on your home screen, ready for easy access!
