Tiger Soccer
September 30, 2015
So far, all four of the Analy soccer teams have gotten off to a great start. The JV girls have played five games so far, and have come away with an overall record of two wins, one tie, and two losses. The Varsity girls have played ten games so far, and have an overall record of seven wins and three losses. They had an extremely successful tournament in Arcata, winning the championship for the sixth year in a row. The highlight of the Arcata tournament was their win in the final against Ukiah High in overtime. Sami Zepponi scored to give the Tigers a 2-1 win. The JV boys have played three games so far, and have come away with one win and two losses. The Varsity boys have played seven games so far, and have an overall record of four wins, two losses, and one tie. All of your Analy soccer teams are looking forward to a great season. The JV girls are welcoming a new coach, Roy Gmitter. The Varsity girls are excited to have Brittney Briones back for her second season as the head coach, as well as Bob Ryan as the assistant coach. Cameron Casty coaches the JV boys, and Peter Meechan coaches the Varsity boys. Even though we don’t have a home field, let’s get out and support our teams! The girls’ senior night is Tuesday, October 27 at Petaluma High School at 7:00 pm. It should be a great game, as Petaluma is their biggest rival. Come out and support your Analy soccer programs. Go Tigers!
