Drinking a delicious smoothie is refreshing, particularly during the summer. Here are 6 of my favorite smoothie recipes that keep me hydrated during the hot summer months. They are super quick and easy to make. Feel free to pour your smoothie into a fun cup, along with cool straw and garnish with fruit!
Strawberry Banana – This is an easy but yummy smoothie to make and it is a classic. You will need these simple ingredients: 2 cups of fresh strawberries, a ripe banana, ½ cup of greek yogurt, and ½ cup of milk (your choice).
Mango – Perfect for all mango lovers! Another delicious smoothie recipe to try is a mango smoothie. For this smoothie you will need 2 fresh mangos, a ripe banana, ½ cup milk of your choice, and ½ a cup of greek yogurt.
Green – This healthy smoothie full of nutrients and greens is ideal to begin your mornings. This smoothie however, will need these ingredients: celery, cucumber, a green apple, a cup of pineapple, and 1 cup of water
Berry – Berry smoothies consist of a variety of different berries. For this excellent smoothie use: 1 cup of strawberries, ½ a cup of blueberries, ½ a cup of raspberries, a handful of spinach or kale, and a cup of water.
Chocolate Banana – This sweet and comforting banana smoothie can make a great treat for breakfast. To keep it simple, you will need: 1 banana, 1 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of chocolate
Piña Colada – This tropical themed smoothie is super flavorful and it’s a great drink to fight off the humid summer. For the piña colada you’ll need: 2 fresh cups of pineapple, ½ a cup of a banana, and ½ a cup of coconut milk or cream.
