This year, Sebastopol FFA sent 27 members to the 90th State FFA Convention in Anaheim, California. Congratulations to Missy Pendleton for winning the Home and/or Community Development Proficiency Award and to Ariel Scholten for winning the Nursery Operations Proficiency Award. General membership students attended sessions filled with motivational speakers, received updates from officials in the agriculture industry, and learned from college students in educational workshops.

On the Tuesday after the conference session, the Sebastopol FFA spent some well-deserved down time at Disneyland and finished up the evening with a special private night at California Adventure. The park was closed to the public and only open to the California FFA! All in all, the whole trip was an incredibly memorable experience.
