Pool Updates

Hello everyone! Thanks to all the emotional and physical support, were able to overcome last year’s Elsa cult. We now have a pool heater, and wetsuits are no longer required! Now that that’s out of the way, let’s all look forward to another exciting year.
The pool board decided that all freshmen who use the pool must train as lifeguards. Thank the seniors for this extra workload!
Another yearly reminder: please remember to use the elevation machine rather than the fire escape, and don’t bring in the uninitiated.
Despite the rumors, the Falcon 9 will not be landing on the roof on October 4th at 9:08 a.m. It will be landing on a barge off the coast of Santa Barbara.
This year’s floating pumpkin festival will be Saturday, October 28.
Please bring a home-grown, non-GMO jack-o’-lantern, complete with a candle. This year we will have a best pumpkin, best carving, best aroma(for homemade candles only), and best overall jack-o’-lantern contest. It’s time to get schpooky!
Remember, daylight savings time ends November 5th , so be extra careful to be on time that day.
And finally, everyone taking a moment to find a way to help the victims of the recent hurricanes and earthquakes. And, make sure you have our own emergency kit in order; when the big one comes, it will be more than a fire drill in the rain.
