Hello youngins. We are back again this month to share our wisdom on our fourth favorite holiday: Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is more than just a day to pretend that you like eating turkey, it is a day to give thanks to all those people you never bother to thank. Here are some ways we have thanked the special people in our lives over previous years. Try them yourselves. It is bound to make someone’s day:
1) Let your teachers know how thankful you are by staying late and asking them questions for 27 minutes after their next class has already started.
2) Nothing says “thanks bruh” like sending your friends head shots of yourself with your signature after the phrase “thanks bruh.”
3) Show Mother that you can take care of more than just yourself by doing a laundry load of herwhites. You’ve got your own load of red laundry to do too, so you might as well combine them.
4) “Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.” That’s all you need to say to him.
5) Even if you don’t always get along, siblings are a valuable part of family life. Share with them your appreciation for their friendship by writing a heart-filled poem. “Roses are red, violets are blue. Its been alright, living with you.”
6) Sneak up on your dog in the middle of the night and pee on his clothes.
7) Thank your cat for constantly scratching your face by returning the favor.
8) Whether you play sports or not, thank any coach or any super competitive football dad that likes to act like the coach of the team by buying him a megaphone. Maybe the players will finally listen to him.
9) You might think that you can show your appreciation for your significant other by getting them flowers, but they are tired of flowers and are secretly allergic to them. Instead, buy them some really gouda cheese … and then realize that they are lactose intolerant.
10) There are some people that are so beautiful, they deserve a thanks you. A nice way to do this is to softly whisper in their ear, your lips gently grazing the cartilage of their earlobes, “You remind me of my sister.”
11) Let the world know you love Grandma by writing a nice, in-depth Facebook post sharing her personal information for all her friends to see, just like Grandma does for you. Thanks, Grandma.
